DIY Boyfriend Jeans

Above Tank: Zara (found here) | Hand Chain Bracelet: Santa Barbara Boutique (also love this one here) | Sandals: Halogen (found here) | Jacket: Anthropologie (found here) | Jeans: Old Navy (Found here) | Bag: Burberry Orchard House Check | Sunglasses: D&G

To turn any old pair of jeans into frayed boyfriend jeans, all you need is a pair of scissors. Take your jeans, or shorts, and lay them flat. Use the blade of the scissors to distress and loosen the fibers in the areas you wish until they begin to thin and fray (I did the knee areas and back pockets). Be sure not to make large holes or gaps to keep a natural look. Pull out the threads to assist the frayed look. Then throw them in the washer/dryer and you’re done! The more they’re worn, the better they look!

Santa Barbara, UCSBstrong

Dress: Black Halo (found here) | Sandals: Halogen (found here

Last weekend I attended the wedding one of my UCSB alumnus in the bright and beautiful downtown Santa Barbara. I decided to change up my routine and go with a classic bold, black number. This was mainly because this dress by Black Halo exposes just the right amount of skin, appropriate for the wedding.

I paired the beautiful dress with my bold leather whites for a black & white Spring harmony.
