Brushed Out Curls

One of my girlfriends Dee taught me how to make my curls look fuller, bigger, sexier, but most importantly...softer...

 Follow these steps below from here down (sorry for my inconsistency) 

Step 1: Blow dry hair upside-down 

 Step 2: With curling iron, curl 1-2 inch thick bunches of hair  all over

 Step: 3 Brush through each of the curls using a boar bristle brush like this or this.

 Step: 4 Spray at a distance

And voilà!!

DIY Sock Bun

The DIY sock bun is an easy way to trade a "bad hair day" for a sophisticated and chic "good hair day". Having a higher beauty self esteem really does matter... 

Follow these steps from bottom to top:

Step 4: Wrap bun with second hair elastic and bobby pin any extra hair around your bun. Spray away (not too much-avoid that quinceañera look).

Step3: With two hands (not shown), roll hair with sock down the length of your ponytail.

Step 2: Let hair fountain over edge of sock (just enough).

Step 1: Put hair in pony tail with hair elastic, and pull pony tail through tube of sock.

Supplies Needed: cut off tube of a clean sock (the thicker the sock, the bigger the bun), 2 hair elastics, and some bobby pins.

We're bringing Velvet back!! I'm sure you all were rocking a pair of velvet pants when you were nine ...that you would never take off. Well that's how I feel about this dress! It's a an oldy but goody from H&M. I took it to my tailor to have it taken in for a tighter and more feminine look. I definitely paid more to my tailor than I did for the dress.. the things you do for velvet...

 Robbie and I had a wonderful time during NYE in one of of my favorite cities, San Francisco <3 <3 <3 We stayed at the beautiful Fairmont in Nob Hill, ate at highly recommended places such as the charming Frascati's and delicious Hog Island Oyster Bar, enjoyed drinks at The Redwood Room and Top of the Mark with old friends...here are some photos of us riding bikes at the Golden Gate Park...
